Apple Ping: Beware of Spam in Ping Social Network

Apple Ping debuted this week, dubbed a new social network revolving around people's music choices. "It's like Facebook and Twitter meet iTunes," Jobs said. "It's a social network all about music." According to Apple, Ping, the name for iTunes 10, incorporates security fixes for across site scripting, information leakage and memory corruption vulnerabilities.
